5 Key Induction Heating System RFQ Specs

What information do you need from me in order to provide an induction heating system RFQ?
When starting the quoting process for a new induction heating power supply our technicians will ask for five specific questions before starting your induction heating system quote. Having the information ready will speed up the RFQ process.
Key pieces of information requested for quotation would include:
- Part geometry
What are the size, shape and mass of your part? - Cycle time
How long does it takes to produce a single unit of your part from start to finish? - Volume
How many parts per year or parts per 10 minutes do you produce? Are you manufacturing small lots of intricate parts or mass quantities of simpler parts? - Voltage
What level of electrical voltage is used in your plant? Is it low, medium, high or ultra high? (An electrical service classification guide can be found here.) - Is cooling water available?
Do you have access to water above the dew point temperature readily available or will you need a chiller?
Providing this information as well as sending a part drawing and a non-disclosure agreement (if necessary) when you make your request for quotation will help speed up the quoting process.
